Author Guidelines
While we do not suggest a maximum (or minimum) page length for articles, please provide advance notice to the editors if your submission will be in excess of 50 pages.
Article manuscripts should follow the style of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 5th edition, 2001.

Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- You have obtained permission for any copyrighted material that is used in the submission.
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or ODT document file format.
- When available, the URLs to access references online are provided, including those for open access versions of the reference. The URLs are ready to click (e.g., http://ojs.gsu.edu/index.php/oar).
- The submission includes an abstract of 100-150 words, highlighting the purpose, scope, methods, and conclusions of the article.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; and employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses).
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
- All illustrations, figures, and tables are of appropriate size; are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end; are numbered in sequence with Arabic numerals; and are clearly identified with a caption.
- Where appropriate, authors are encouraged to include research instruments as appendices.
